Hi yesterday my school had our cross country for all students. I loved it!!!
It was fun because I was practising for this and I came second. So what I have learnt is that you should always practise for everything and you might get good luck. connect where you cant 1st 2st 3th
The distance I ran for the Year 6 course was 2.1 kilometres.
Hi Lucas I am Alvin. I really like your Blog it is unlucky that you just lost by a foot to me. I agree on that you should pratice for everything. I could spot a few mistakes but no worries everyone makes mistakes just go back and change the spelling and then it will be all fine! oh also Next time you could ask us a few questions to answer! but other than that Great job! - Alvin
ReplyDeleteHi Lucas
ReplyDeleteYou had such a gutsy run on Tuesday, well done. It was really exciting watching Alvin and you race each other. One thing I didn't think of until now (I hope you do not mind me saying this) is that your legs are a bit shorter than Alvin's so you have to make them go faster just to keep up with him. So I think you were awesome.
I also like the attitude you have shown here: you loved the cross country and it didn't matter if Alvin bet you by his foot.
Do you know what Ritchie McCaw says? "I do not believe in good luck, I believe in hard work." I think you have proved him right.
All the best for next week, keep up the training but do not over do it!
Do you know there are running clubs like football and league clubs?
